Driving Westward on the A303

Leave the A303 at the South Petherton roundabout signposted Ilminster passing the Esso garage on your left, follow on a mile or so to Watergore. Keep an eye out for the Trading Post on your left, immediately afterwards there is a mini roundabout. Go straight across the roundabout taking the right turn, about 50 yards up, with the brown sign to Barrington Court. Follow this road through to Barrington (a few country miles). Go through the village until you get to the village hall, then turn right down the hill and follow the lane until you get to the main road (the B3168). Turn right here into Westport.

 

In a hundred yards or so there is a cottage on the right with a dark blue painted porch right on the road, opposite is the left turn to Isle Brewers. Follow Isle Brewers Lane for a couple of miles. On entering the village pass the church, then Bartlett’s Farm and then the garage with the big weeping willow trees opposite - go round the next right-hand corner and Brewers Cottage is in front of you on your right. Turn into the drive, which is just before the cottage.

From the M5 North or South

Come off the motorway at junction 25 and take the A358 exit signposted to Yeovil. At the roundabout follow signs for the A358. After passing through Henlade, at the top of the long hill turn left at the lights at Thornfalcon onto the A378 signposted to Langport. Follow the road through Wrantage and on to Fivehead. Opposite the car sales garage and shop  turn right off the main road signposted Isle Brewers. At the bottom of Butchers Hill turn left and follow the signs to Isle Brewers

 

When you get to the Isle Brewers village sign go over the bridge, past the mill on your right, over the next bridge and round a right hand corner. Our garden is now on your left. Go past the cottage and turn into the drive.
