There is a choice of bed and breakfast accommodation here at Brewers Cottage.
The Annexe is the most recent addition, comfortable, modern and a lovely, light, quiet, space. It has its own private entrance, which means you can come and go as you please, a spacious bed sitting room with a large comfortable bed, wi-fi, a smart TV and an adjoining completely newly refitted wet room. It also has its own garden terrace and sitting area for you to enjoy if the sun is shining.
There are a further two double rooms available in the main house, one with its own ensuite shower room, the other with its own large bathroom.
All our rooms are quiet, warm and comfortable with luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy towels.
Your stay includes a breakfast of delicious locally sourced ingredients; fruit compote, yogurt, our own free range eggs, bacon and sausages, fresh baked bread, homemade preserves and honey from the hives in the garden.
Brewers Cottage is 350 years old, comfortable, characterful and homely, set in a lovely garden of around 3/4 of an acre.
If you don't feel like going out for the evening we can provide you with a delicious supper here, prepared from the freshest local ingredients; Lyme Bay fish, free range meat or poultry, game, when in season, artisan cheeses and breads, and our own homegrown or market sourced fruit and vegetables. Please ask for details and we will let you have some menu ideas to choose from.
If you click the Sawday's blue logo at the bottom of the page it will take you to the Brewers Cottage page on their website, where you will find some guest reviews of recent stays.
If you are staying in one of the rooms in the main house there is a comfortable ground floor sitting room for your use, a perfect place to read a book or just relax by the fire after your meal.
We would encourage you to bring a nice bottle or two to enjoy during your stay.
The Local Area
Brewers Cottage is on the Northern edge of the ancient hamlet of Isle Brewers, right in the peaceful heart of rural Somerset, close to the Levels. The village is mid-way between the North and South Coasts and close to some lovely market towns and villages. It is a great area to spend a weekend or a relaxing few days exploring. We are close to both the A303 and the M5, so it is a perfect spot for a night or two's break on a journey westward, or on your way back home.
This part of Somerset is a little slice of heaven. The surrounding countryside is unspoilt with wonderful flora and fauna and big skies. There are many National Trust properties and notable gardens to visit nearby.
We are close to some very goof places to eat and some great pubs serving traditional fayre and West Country crafted beers and ciders.
We are always happy to help you find somewhere nice to go and to assist with any booking arrangements.
